Wakanda Inu ($WKD) Successfully Burns 76% (750T) Tokens

We are happy to announce we have successfully burnt the entire 76% of the Wakanda Inu max supply which was announced some weeks back.

The announcement of the intention to burn a huge number of tokens arose from the community’s desire to see it totally removed from ever coming into circulation.

As a community-driven project, we listened and have now burnt the tokens.

What does this mean?

This means that the total or max supply has effectively been reduced by a significant percentage.

There are several questions coming from the community as to the actual Total Supply now. Here we are going to explain so that everyone will have a full understanding and scope of the burn.

Wakanda Inu started with a Max Supply and Total Supply of 1 Quadrillion. During the setting up of the token sale, over 14 Trillion tokens were burnt.

After the token sale, some tokens which were unsold amounted to 50.1 Trillion tokens. This was burnt by Pinksale as was stated on the Panther’s Word.

Then we burnt 76% of the total tokens or 750 Trillion tokens as the community wanted. This thus brings the total number of tokens burnt to over 814 Trillion.

Therefore, the new total supply of Wakanda Inu ($WKD) is:

Max Supply: 185.5 Trillion WKD

Total Supply: 185.5 Trillion WKD

But why a different figure on BSCScan?

On the BSCscan page of Wakanda Inu, the number of tokens currently displaying is over 235 Trillion WKD tokens. This is because, this number includes the 50.1 Trillion tokens burnt by Pinksale.

Checking the details will show the actual number of tokens after-burn.

Wallet Holder with over 36% of WKD

Prior to the burn, Wakanda Inu highest holding was in the wallet containing the 750 Trillion tokens burnt. After the burn, a new wallet now holds the majority of the tokens. This wallet currently contains 36.16% of WKD.

It is imperative to state that this wallet contains unclaimed tokens from the sale on Pinksale. It also contains locked marketing, development, charity funds which are vested for a period of 5 years and released quarterly to ensure the smooth running and administration of the Wakanda Inu project.
